The Flying Star Feng Shui technique I practise is a traditional method that incorporates Yin Yang, the five elements (wood, fire, earth, metal and water), the energies of 8 areas and the dynamic of the Lo Shu Square.
The Lo Shu Square, also known as the Magic Square is the foundation of ancient feng shui astrology.
The point of difference between Lo Shu Square and other mathematical and divinatory traditions is that it incorporates the number 5 into its system.
Many other Feng Shui consultants and even masters that practise in China, do not believe that the number 5 is important and do not include it within their Feng Shui consultations.
However, what is magical about the number 5 is that when you look at the grid above, any 2 numbers that cross over the 5 will equal 10. For instance, the 9 (above the 5) and the 1 (below the 5) equal 10, the 3 (left of 5) and 7 (right of 5) equals 10.
Have a bit of fun and continue the calculations within the grid. When you add the middle 5 to each equation, it equals 15, the number of days in each of the 24 cycles of the Chinese solar year.
Certain numbers are activated during cycles of the chinese solar year and the Magic Square helps to determine, what these numbers mean and also the intentional placement of objects in relation to the flow of Qi (or natural energy).
So what does all this mean?
I recently received two parking tickets in the space of one week. I am a big believer in everything happens for a reason.
I thought hmm, I must check the clock under the stairs. I reveal why in a moment. You see I have a 5 at my front door but I also have a slither of a number 9.
These numbers are determined according to the Magic Square and understanding the Flying Star Feng Shui technique:
- 5 is obstacles and destruction
- Centuries ago it meant war and sickness
- In the 21st century, it means bankruptcy
- 9 is prosperity and luck in the future and is also known for money.
After checking under the stairs, I realised my clock has stopped working!
What did this mean? Bankruptcy.
This wasn’t the first time my Qi had become unbalanced. When I first moved into the house I received six speeding fines in a matter of months. I remedied the Feng Shui, by providing the cures and activating the numbers with a clock, to continually keep the 9 active at my front door, and weaken the 5. All became well in my world of finances again.
The most important aspects to support you in your home is the front door and where the money earners head in your household sleeps. Their head must be sleeping in a number in its time (remember the chinese solar year). Either 8, 9 or 1. Each number is associated with different body parts and meanings and provides you with the astrology of your home.
Now is the best time to engage a Feng Shui consultant as new numbers also arrive with the beginning of each Chinese new year on 4th February 2018 and can be incorporated within your consultation to support you in the new year ahead of all your endeavours.
